I just ordered my holiday cards from Costco!

I've never managed to do it this early! They will arrive by 11/9 and my goal is to have them addressed and stamped before Thanksgiving and mailed out the Friday after. Fingers crossed. This is all part of my personal goal of making the holidays less hectic.

Just thought I would share because in past years it sometimes doesn't even occur to me until Thanksgiving.

I ordered and received mine from Shutterfly already! I also wait until the last minute but damn it felt good to get that out of the way. I also started Christmas shopping!

I got mine from Shutterfly last week! Crazy early. It feels good to get these things done early. Sending out holiday cards is usually a big source of stress for me at Christmas time because I put it off, it takes longer than I expect to create it, takes longer to get it since everyone is ordering their cards at the same time, and then I start to question why I'm even doing it and sometimes actually do give up. But I enjoy sending and receiving cards so I always feel bad about it when i give up.

Making them before Halloween is something I feel good about

I have designed mine on the Costco site and am ready to order as well. Earliest date for us too.

I'm jealous.

Not even close to being this prepared.

How do Costco cards come out? Debating between Costco and Shutterfly.

Fwiw, my Shutterfly cards came out surprisingly high quality this year. Usually I’m disappointed with them.

OP here. Have done it for several years and have had no quality issues. I always get the cardstock but don't pay extra for the foil embossing. Its $16.49 per pack of 25 cards so its a good deal. I think they may go on a sale near black friday but I didn't want to wait that long as we leave town on 12/16.

I've done both in the past and slightly prefer Shutterfly but think the Costco ones look pretty good for the price!

OP here. The ones in December. We are an interfaith family (Christian/Jewish) so we always just order "Happy Holidays" cards. Will mail them out the very beginning of December.

So happy for you. I was ahead last year because we used a summer vacation photo. I don’t even have a plan this year!
