Best apples to buy locally

Are you looking for a place to buy them or a variety that's tasty?
My tip is to buy what is locally grown. you can get them at farmers market or even at Giant if you ask or read labels. Giant often has the local ones bagged up, not loose. Buy from MD, PA, VA. Avoid the ones that get shipped in from far away.

I really like Pink Ladies (cultivar name). Whoever’s selling them at your local farmer’s market is probably good.

Little early for pink ladies, well there weren’t any last week. Should be soon though, my favorite as well.

Everyone in my family has a different favorite. That's the great thing about the farmers market, so many good options.
