| When I lived in Italy, the grocery stores sold a combination of equal parts radicchio, frisée, arugula, shredded carrots with some walnuts. It made the best salad, especially with red wine vinaigrette and shaved Parmesan. You can also top with sliced pears or some pomegranate. So good! |
| Make a copycat version of my late, lamented favorite salad from Cheesecake Factory: shred; mix with sliced endive, candied pecans and blue cheese or Gorgonzola; toss with a wine vinegar vinaigrette. |
