I can only clean my house listening to an audiobook

Any good audiobook recommendations. I need to seriously clean my house this evening and Saturday and am 100 times more productive if I am listening to an audiobook.

What kinds of books do you like? I have a lot of thriller recommendations I’ve loved on audiobook!

Me too! That’s so funny. Do you like ROMCOM type books? I just listened to Part of Your World and really enjoyed it. Next up is the Matthew perry bio.

I have enjoyed:
A man called Ove (didn’t like the book but liked the audiobook)
A Fine Balance
Born a Crime
Where’d You Go Bernadette
Books by Liane Moriarty
The Storied Life of AJ Fikery

The only audiobook that I really couldn’t stand was The Dutch House read by Tom Hanks

I just spent 5 minutes looking for a book called Books by Liane Moriarty. I've listened to almost all of her books and thought I missed one.

Time for happy hour!

That is totally something I would do! I have read all her books. What’s the last audiobook you listened to?

Me too! And when I was do a big meal prep on Sundays. for cleaning and prepping, I keep it very light: celebrity memoir is the best.

This is a great idea. Maybe listening to an audiobook would help me be motivated to clean!

Remarkably bright creatures - highly recommend the Audio version

Me too! Especially vacuuming. I cannot do it now without having a book playing or a podcast or something!

“You” and “Gone Girl”…I don’t care if you’ve read the books, the performances are STUNNING. “Rules of Civility” for the same reason. “Luckiest Girl Alive,” “The Wife Between Us,” and totally left-field, “The Autobiography of Henry VIII” by Margaret George. The late David Case WAS Henry VIII, there’s no other way to describe it.

Haven't tried audio books yet, but yes, I found out I don't mind housework when listening to podcasts.

We are audio book twins (right down to The Dutch House dislike) except for The Storied Life, which I will now add to my library since I haven’t listened to that one!

I also like:
My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry and its sequel Britt Marie Was Here
Circe
The Murmur of Bees

If you like crime mysteries, particularly those set in the UK, say so, and I’m your girl for all kinds of recommendations.
