Can people recommend a brand of hair band that will stay put without sliding? I have one, designed for the gym, that has a rubber grippy strip that does okay, but is not great. Others, for outside of the gym, don't seem to even have that. |
A head band or a hair elastic/hair tie? |
It depends on head shape. My head is pretty much flat in the back and none stay. |
A headband--to keep my bangs off my face. A circular band of fabric with a silicone or rubber grip. |
Same. Tiny head, flat on top, flat in the back. Hair bands do not stay on. I am really good at balancing things on top of it though! |
I use the athleta ones that are probably and inch or two wide. I have to wear it pretty far forward though for it to stay. I can’t wear it as a normal headband. |
I have never found one.
If I have to use a headband, I use the thin plastic ones with teeth. |
I'm surprised by these answers. I've never had a headband fall off. Unless I was doing jumping jacks or hanging upside down. |
I have fine, wavy hair and do the no-show t-shirt headbands made famous by girls in the 80s... cut the hem off of an old t-shirt, twist it in half, and place it in your hair. It's like magic. No other headband has ever stayed in place or not given me a headache. |
Sorry. *no sew* headband, not no show... |
Motley Crue.
Oh sorry, you said on, not in your head ![]() |
I use thick fabric covered elastic bands — no grippy strips. They never come off — unless they’re old and stretched out. I got them from Whole Foods. |
It's head shaped dependent. Unless mine is so far forward that it's on my actual forehead, they all jump off the back of my head |
LOL!! |
LOL...love Motley Crue (and Nikki Sixx for that matter *swoon*) |
