Man cut-n-paste is your friend OP. Tell us the top schools already. Why provide a paywall link to a rag that none of us will ever subscribe to? Just asking questions.

It’s an annoying slide format

Top 10:
1. TJ
2. Banneker
3. SWW
4. Whitman
5. Langley
6. McLean
7. Wooten
8. Marshall
9. Poolsville
10. BASIS DC

31. McKinley Tech

Wilson/Jackson-Reed didn’t even make the top 50 (yikes)

That’s basically the US News list. Same ordinal places for TJ, Banneker, Walls, and Basis; McKinley was 32; and JR was outside the top 50. JR loses a ton of points with these people for not excluding enough low-performing students.

Looking at the list, the two ways to be at the top are to be application only or to have no poor students

This list misses out on some of the best HS programs in the area because they're test-in, school-within-a-school programs.

No Richard Montgomery HS IB Diploma program in Rockville (admitting less than 10% of 8th grade applicants with a county-wide draw), or the Blair Montgomery STEM magnet or humanities CAP magnet (also admitting less than 10%).

Banneker? Come, the school's average SAT scores are still in the 500s and seniors need special permission to take more than 2 AP classes.

Total clickbait.

There is no Washington Business Journal rankings.

They are just using the USN&WR rankings.

Nope. It’s serve an affluent community or automatically enroll most kids in one or more AP or IB courses. It can easily be gamed.
