S/O: Why do you overuse your turn signal?

Anonymous
How can you mindlessly drive for miles with your signal clicking? Seems to me that a lot of you either need to get your hearing checked, or STOP BREAKING THE LAW and take the damn earbuds out.

Bonus points if I'm coming up on your left, open space to let you over while you chill for >10 seconds, and then get pissy when I shrug and cruise by you.

Get a life, OP.

Maryland drivers. Either they don't signal at all, or when they do, they leave it on.

If both a visual and audio clue aren't sufficient, people who do this should not be driving. Clearly their situational awareness is lacking.

That's not overuse of a turn signal. That's forgetting to turn it off..

Ya know you look silly, right?

At least they’re using turn signals in the first place.

I think it’s AirPods which seems super dangerous. And possibly illegal?

Some brands turn signals are quieter than others and do not turn off as readily as others aftet making the same turn. Notice this when I changed from Mercedes to Subaru. If I have a radio on or on a call, I can barely hear it.

I've always wondered about that. Are they perhaps hard of hearing, or in the midst of a radio show/music/phone conversation?

I notice it sometimes but it's really not a big deal. I just assume it's an old person who can't hear it, like my dad.

You dad should not be driving if they can't hear it, or see it on his dash. That's seriously alarming.

I've seen plenty of VA and DC drivers not use the turn signals. I live in MD and use my turn signals when I wish to turn or change lanes. If it is on longer it just means I haven't had the chance to change lanes because you zoomed up and refused to let me in.

Found the racist!

“Maryland drivers” in DCUM-speak actually means “black drivers”.

Oh, it's you again. The bad Maryland driver who's a bad Maryland driver because they're a Maryland driver, and refuses to believe it.

I saw three people doing this in the past week. They were all white males. The common denominator though, was that all vehicles had Maryland plates.

Meh, like I said, it’s not a big deal.
