Cooking wine?

I am making chicken piccata and the last time I made it i just used the generic cooking white wine that you find over near the oil and vinegar. I think it was holland house brand or something like that. It was not my favorite wine. What is a better white wine choice to cook with?

We buy the four packs of sutter home and keep those on hand for regular marinade needs.
