And yes crime is down since the 90s, just like European war deaths are down from the 40s. Still an uptick in both this year. |
Not really as compared to last year: https://mpdc.dc.gov/page/district-crime-data-glance. Robbery is up, motor vehicle theft is up slightly, but overall crime is down and murders are down compared to 2021. |
