I’m voting for Rodney Grant for mayor. Please join me.

There’s just no reason not to. It could not be any worse than what we have already. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. And that’s what a vote for Bowser is at this point. Voting for her (again) and expecting a different outcome.

Not this time. If Grant wins and sucks, we can vote him out in four years. We know Bowser will suck again right out of the gate.

He discusses his positions here: https://wtop.com/dc/2022/06/meet-the-candidates-for-dc-mayor-rodney-red-grant/

Lots of sensible stuff. It’s a shame that he was / is not taken more seriously.

He seems like a serious candidate. However, his campaign photo while wearing some kind of DC “presidential sash” seemed a like satire of a minor country head of state.

Uh, yeah, that was the point. Satire. He’s a comedian.

So was Zelensky.

He's to the left of Bowser on crime and so was Robert White.

Right? Fk that.

As if this city needs any additional nudge toward progressive policy. I mean look at crime. We’re about to reform the criminal code as well, which will further embolden criminals as they’ll be able to act with more impunity without any real consequences. Maybe we should not take Mr. Grant seriously. Maybe Bowsers middle of the road approach is a bit better.

I love it that you used the word "herb." So appropriate.

Joke candidate seeking joke votes from suckers like the OP.

Agreed. The photo does his campaign a great disservice. I never took him seriously simply because of that photo.

How is it possible that this interview doesn't mention education? It's 20% of DC's budget. Yet the stupid football stadium, well that deserves it's own question with a multi-paragraph answer.

More fascinating is the very same people who were posting FTP and ACAB in the summer of ‘20 suddenly were very concerned about attacks on police officers after Jan 6

Like watching leopards change their spots overnight
