FAFSA and 529

Where do I put 529 savings in FAFSA, and does it include for DC not yet applying for college? Sorry, if that's a dumb question. I'm a newbie.

I googled it, and it says put the amount in "other investments" but didn't indicate if that includes other DC's savings. TIA

I was looking at this issue yesterday as well. It appears that you must report all 529 accounts on which you, the parent, are the owner, regardless of beneficiary. Please someone correct me if I’m wrong.

To the first poster, the online FAFSA tells you where to put it -- may be in one of the little information pop-up boxes.

Yes - because you can easily change the beneficiary

OP here.. another question. Do I report amount in HSA? It's not huge, like $15K now, probably lower with the stock market down.
