Training shoes

I’ve worn Nike metcon for years, not yeh new model has a very wide heel so doesn’t work for me.

Any recommendations? I like firm support — little to very little or no squish — and stability with good arch support is my priority.

Should read “….but the new model…”!

Are these the ones you have? I have a very narrow heel and they fit me perfectly. My favorite training shoes thus far.

I just got a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS - happy with them so far. I overpronate and they correct that.

What do you mean by training? What kind of exercising are you doing? Just weights? HIIT? Running? Sprints?

OP here. Mostly weights, hiit, and plyometrics. Not a runner.

I really like the Saucony kinvara shoes. They are a running shoe, but lightweight and low bulk. They have good stability for lateral moves too. I use for HIIT class, weights, running (mostly sprints and intervals, never distances longer than 2 miles )
