please vote on our girl name! Olive or Olivia?

Olivia is more popular right now, but we'd likely call her "Liv." Olive would be different and also would likely take "Liv." Please vote!

I like Olivia. Olive always reminds me of Olive Oil .

I love Olive. Olivia is a bit trendy at the moment.

We know several little girls named Liv...and it's not short for anything. It's just Liv.

Don't saddle her with Olive!!

Olivia is SOOO popular right now. Olive used to be incredibley rare but now is more like a common name for people trying to pic an uncommon name. Either way, there will be many kids going by Liv in your daughter's school. All that aside, I still love Liv (and Olivia, but not so much Olive). If you really intend to go by Liv, I don't think it matters much, but my vote would be for Olivia despite it's popularity.

Olive is hideous -- she will hate you for that. PLease, name her Olivia despite its overall trendiness.

love, love Olive.

Olivia is over-used and boring. There are about 10 girls named Olivia in every subdivision in America.

olive is silly. popeye and olive...olive oil...pitted olives...olive tree...olive loaf...olive spread...olives in my martini...it's a food...not a good name...

olivia definitely. who cares if it is popular.

I vote for Olivia. You can call her Olive as a nickname, but she'll always have the option of being Olivia.

Olive. Olivia is way overdone and if you are going to call her Liv, go it with more unusal Olive.

How about Livia? You could still call her Liv.

Don't like Olive, and Olivia is beautiful but waaaaaay overused at the moment; if you're ok with the trendiness factor, I'd go with Olivia.
