SAT Registration- Student or Parent?

DS taking SAT in March and I was about to register him, but it says to create a College Board account. Thinking maybe I should just have him do it. What do people usually do?

He should do it. Also, he may already have a College Board account if he has taken APs.

They should create a new email for this.
They will get spammed with email and it will clutter their inboxes.

Personal for sure so it’s same email as applications. But if you don’t opt into the search service, you only get emails from College Board and not colleges. That said, my DC did still create a new account that is solely for college stuff.
