How do your virtual tutors help your child? They don’t have access to Canvas pages. Trying to figure out how this can work. Thanks!

But how can a tutor access?

I think the first thing to be clear is that the free service through Paper really isn't tutoring the way we might think of tutors. It isn't an ongoing relationship but instead sort of a moment-in-time type of help.

OP, you didn't mention what grade or subject. My middle schooler has used it a few times to get help on a particular math problem. It's mostly via a chat function, not even face to face for this type of thing. She shares the problem and the tutor walks her through how to solve it and why you do certain steps.

OP here. 7th grader. Not referring to paper but rather a private tutor.

Do you mean that your kid has a private tutor that is virtual outside the APS system? You can do a zoom/MS teams meeting and share the screen so your kid can show them what is on canvas.

They share their screens.

Kid can share from APS iPad with a non-APS person?

No, they can’t use their APS iPad to zoom with a non APS device. You need to use your own device for private tutoring.
