Common App- what does "Saves Forms" mean?

This is the definition:
Saves forms: Colleges that save recommendations post-matriculation are indicated by a green checkmark in the last column


Does that mean they save letters of recommendation?
Of the 3 schools DC is applying to, the only one with this green checkmark is the one that doesn't require any letters of recommendation.

Could that be an error?
