Casual backyard wedding in Maine in October

| Just invited today to a very small casual wedding in backyard in Maine at end of October. I have a navy polka dotted jumpsuit with short black boots and jean jacket. Do you think this will work? Definitely too cold for sleeveless, but will jean jacket work? |

Not sure where you are from, but let me assure you as a one time Mainah - denim is entirely acceptable at a casual backyard wedding in Maine. The groom might even be wearing it! |

| I love Maine and it's wonderful in early October but end of the month?! It might be really, really chilly. People will be wearing Patagonia and/or Carhartt. Don't overthink your outfit. |

| Yes to the cold. Was in southern Maine last weekend and the AM/PM temps were in the low 40s. I'd still say no to the denim, but YMMV. |

| Op here. Late afternoon wedding. Should I wear heels rather than black boots? It is on lawn and I thought heels would sink into grass. There will be fire pits and very casual. Thought jean jacket would look better than heavy winter jacket. I know how cold it gets, I live in Maine. Just wanted to look nice, not worried about cold at all. Thanks |
