What's the best way to handle?

How do you handle being around elderly relatives for extended periods of time when they make repetitive noises? Think things like constant throat clearing, or sniffing, snorting, etc.

I feel like I shouldn't say anything, but the constant nature of these bodily noises is driving me insane. Advice, please?

Oy. Another “your perfectly normal human sounds must end immediately because I can’t stand them” person.

Take a pill. You realize you make noises too, right?

If you're not already, your mere presence will be annoying to others.

You try to reframe it inside your own head - this is natural, this is a sign of a long life, how lucky I am to still have so-and-so person in my life, etc. If you're talking about overnight visits, bring earplugs.
