What do you think of this top 40 list?

Very suspect when Hitching Post was #1. I know its a new bib gourmand but we were incredibly underwhelmed by the fried chicken.
I can see how Queen's English is #2. Nice little spot, think it's just overpriced. Tail Up Goat's place on the list is way to high. I like 2 Amys but also think it's too high. Annie's is a questionable inclusion. Convivial and Daru should be higher..... ok now that I'm getting into this list I see that it went from ranking the top 5 to alphabetical...? I also see that's he's going by "best value" rather than just "best." Only ever drank at The Tombs but don't see how it made the list. Haven't heard of several of the DC places and think some places that should be there aren't. |
