Which Elementary School does Kenwood feed?

Hi friends!

I'm finding it hard to understand which elementary school Kenwood homes feed into (East side, if that matters). I'm also hearing that this maybe changing soon, from Somerset Elementary (appears to be highly rated), to something else.

We are transplants, so know very little about these schools other than what is on greatschools.org, which I realize you need to take with a grain of salt. So if anyone has any words of wisdom about the Kenwood school trajectory, we'd be quite grateful to hear it.

So this nails it. Looks like it is now Westbrook Elementary, already recorded in the system, instead of Somerset.

Now it's time for us to look up what the reputation there is. Much appreciated!

Westbrook. These are the current boundaries:

The boundaries for Westbrook, Somerset, and Bethesda ES were just changed effective this year, with some additional students being phased in next year, so further changes after that are not likely.

All three schools are fine. With the boundary changes, previous data won’t match rising student mix. You best bet for information is to talk with your neighbors.

Those are 3 excellent elementary schools

Just noting that if your child has special needs, Bethesda ES has an excellent reputation for helping that population. Somerset ES has the opposite reputation, and I haven't heard about Westbrook ES.

to sprinkle little rich kids around the consortiums to show the Ganlandia school kids how to succeeded !
