Dry Ice--Where to Purchase in MoCo?

Anonymous
We're having an outdoor movie/firepit party this weekend for my 3rd grader for his birthday and he would really like me to incorporate dry ice into the halloween decor we've got going. I was thinking of putting some in a few cauldrons or beakers to create a spooky effect. It doesn't look like dry ice is available on Amazon, but is sold at grocery stores. Does anyone know where to buy some? I checked a few local Safeways online and they were either sold out or didn't have it stocked. We're in MoCo if anyone has a good place to pick this up.

Many Harris Teeters sell dry ice. That's where I got ours this summer (in Bethesda near Guapo's, in case that helps you). Call one near you and ask!

Don’t need to know the backstory. Just ask where to purchase dry ice.

The Harris teeter in Potomac has a container full in the front by customer service.
