Anyone stay in Lauderdale by the Sea?

If so - how does it compare with other beach towns in Florida?

Yes! We loved it. Very small but cute vibe and nice beach.

Did no lifeguards on the beach bother you?

It's fine and small. My uncle has a condo there we often stay in, but it's inland on a golf course. We drive to the beach.

I'm from nearby. It's fun - lots of French Canadians in the winter. Be sure to go to Seawatch for dinner one night! It's really nice, yet family friendly. https://seawatchontheocean.com/

Lago Mar is a wonderful place to stay

I grew up going to the beach club there in the 70s and 80s and it’s about as classic old-school Ft Laud as you can find.

When my dad was still alive my parents used to spend the winters there. 20+ years. They stayed at a small condo community walking distance to the beach. They loved it there. Walked to the grocery store, coffee etc.

We go and love it! Really great vibe. We stay at the Plunge beach resort. Beach bar and restaurant are awesome!

Stop going to California because there are earthquakes there.

Stop going to the Caribbean because there are hurricanes there.

Stop going to New England because they have blizzards every winter.

Stop... Stop...Stop.... living
