Dinner and Dancing

I’m planning a birthday celebration to include dinner and dancing in DC, but it’s been ages since I’ve been downtown not alone know what’s out there. Can anyone recommend any restaurants that offer both and/or any suggestions?

Not many have dancing too -- this isn't the 1960s. Some convert into nightclubs though, like Mari Vanna, former 1223 (forgot the new name) and a few others near Connecticut and L.
