Meet Mobile

Anyone know if the Mako Invitational will be on Meet Mobile?

Yes it’s in the meet announcement. All of these? Are answered in the meet announcement. The meet announcement is your friend. https://www.pvswim.org/2223meet/23-02-ma.pdf

Past Mako Meets were only populated in MeetMobile as the sessions were underway. Don't count on getting heat/lane assignments ahead of time!

meet programs with heat/lane assignments are on the makos website now- as noted in the meet announcement.

OP here. I have the meet announcement and read it. I also have the heat sheet from my team. However, I was trying to explain Meet Mobile to a new parent and noticed that yesterday the meet wasn't listed. Now the session is underway and it's still not listed. I don't think it was an unreasonable question to ask as all the meets my child has swam previously with Meet Mobile had the meet available the day before. Since it's not being live streamed as they're allowing spectators, those who are unable to make it in person wanted a way to see how their swimmers are doing. It's also hard to catch times if you're there because the meet moves quickly!

OP I am with you.

First, the meet has started and there are no heat/lane assignments on the Mako website. I went there first. Estimated timeline and psych sheet are there.

The meet was not a searchable meet in meet mobile this morning. It was entered when the meet STARTED but still ZERO information on heat and lane assignments.

Whoever the poster who said that information was there, is mistaken.

That is not a heat sheet. A sheet will tell you the Event, heat and lane assignment for each child. The yellow is the estimated schedule. That is not what OP or anyone was asking about.

Did you even click on it? Each event is broken down by heat and has the lane assignment. It doesn’t say “lane assignment” but you can tell by looking at it that they arranged the kids by time, you know the kid with the fastest time is in lane 4 or 5. Are you that much of a precious snowflake that this doesn’t suffice for you?

They really are there. It took me a minute to see them after PP said they were there, but seriously they are.

I went CRAZY looking for that darn heat sheet. So glad it wasn’t just me. Typically it is in found with the other documents (meet info, psych sheet etc) but this time it was buried in a super long email

in highlighted links that didn’t look clickable. They just looked like highlighted age groups.

Ps: we’ve been going to club meets for 4 years and I never knew it listed the meet mobile info until this thread (I read the date, time, place, and then skim for other relevant info because half the time the rest of the info doesn’t apply to us). I think it was a perfectly good question.

Hope your swimmer did well and good luck if they are swimming tomorrow!

After all this discussion and they still haven’t posted the 8 and under times yet. Oh well. Odd that the 9-10 were posted quickly. I assume some technical issue with the younger kids.

There are no automatic timing systems for the 25 yard races. They need to be manually entered and uploaded, which takes longer. Hopefully they'll show up first thing tomorrow!
