Which private high schools in Fairfield county / Westchester county have the kindest student populations (for a girl) ? |
Following. We are looking at Greenwich Academy and Rye Country Day for our daughters. GA parents seem snobbier, but I can’t speak to the kindness of the students. |
I grew up in Fairfield Cty. The majority of kids tend to go public because the schools are good. I cannot speak to the private because I really don’t know. |
You should visit in person and have your kid do a morning / shadow day. You will find out everything you need to know. |
Same, but I do have a friend who has a DD at greens farms academy. |
We are…and I went to college with a bunch of GA and Brunswick alums, so I have a sense of who gets churned out. Would love to hear your insights. |
I don't think the Fairfield/Westchester privates are really known for kind kids. |
Those privates are not known for kind girls. But they are known for mean girls who are borderline for an eating disorder! |
It depends what grade. The older the kids get, the more likely they're there because they want more of an academic challenge, so they're nicer. In the early grades, it's more of a social play among parents. |
I have never seen a correlation between niceness and wanting an academic challenge. That’s a bizarre connection to make. |
