Can anyone recommend a good female RE in northern Virgina? Thanks.

Dr. Browne at SG in Fair Oaks.

Andrea Reh is joining a big practice in VA soon, I see her in NYC now but I plan to follow her to VA if needed.

what practice is she joining??

Dr. Andrea Reh is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist practicing in New York, NY.
Is she an RE?

She is an RE and she's joining Dominion Fertility.

that's great news, she is a great doctor...I've been a patient of hers for the last 2 years.

It looks like Dr Andrea Reh is currently doing a fellowship at NYU. I wonder if the posts about her are from someone at Dominion since patients usually don't have very strong opinions about the fellows they may see during monitoring. http://www.nyufertilitycenter.org/rei_fellows

Plus I spent A LOT of time researching REs in New York and her name was never mentioned.

This is not to say that she'll be a bad RE (after all NYU is a good place to do a fellowship) just that these posts sound kinda fishy.

her bio doesn't say she's an RE. all it says is that she is in ob/gyn and has about 2 years' experience.

Dr. Kulshrestha at GIVF is great. I had lots of consults on my journey toward a BFP and hers was the most thorough. She was a bit more progressive in her approach than other area REs that I met. I had excellent response to her protocol.

OP, if you read the boards here, Dr. K is one who consistently gets a bad rap. this is the first positive i've read.

Dr. Rafat Abassi -- two offices, one in VA and one in MD. I love her -- she's a wonderful and skilled RE who's compassionate but tells it like it is. I have two children thanks to her, despite PCOS, stage IV endometriosis, and other issues.

I would not recommend Dr. Abbasi. I have to tell HER what tests needed to be done. She did not know how to handle our case (male factor). She was also rude when I asked her questions. We switched to Dominion Fertility.
