Back to back IVF cycles??

My doctor claims that back-to-back IVF cycles are ok (I'm counting the whole 2 month process as a 'cycle' not just the stimulation). I'm curious to see if other doctors advocate this as well? I thought that some said it was a bad idea.

I've always heard it was fine and actually I've heard that sometimes you'll respond better on the second one.

I did back to back IVF cycles at SGF and got pregnant on the second one. My doctor told me it was fine and that you get enough "rest" during the 2-3 weeks when you are on the pill. I responded well both times and had a better response on the second cycle, but they also upped my doses quite a bit. I was a little nervous about it, but I didn't want to take a break, I trusted my doctor, and in the end I am glad I went ahead with the second cycle. Some people do need a break, even if only to give your emotions a rest, so you have to figure out what feels right for you. Good luck!

I also got pregnant on the second cycle of back to back cycles (with 3 weeks of BCPs in between).

Worked for Celine Dion. Evidenly she did 6 months of back to back cycles (though there might have been some FETs in there).

I did back to back natural cycle IVF's and the second one worked!

I know it is different but I did back to back fresh and then frozen. Exactly one month between failed IVF and successful frozen.

I did back to back and got pregnant.

we did 5 back to backs. didn't want to make it any longer than necessary, and that was after 4 IUIs, also back to back. Successful in the end. Good luck, it's a shitty process to go through.
