It does not surprise me at all that Tucker Carlson attended the funeral of a notorious criminal that was convicted for drug trafficking, kidnapping, and a litany of other offenses against both civilians and the police.

I think Tucker sees a 2024 opening and DJT will likely be the kingmaker of the primary. DJT clearly does not trust DeSantis, considers him another Yale/Harvard swamp slimeball phony. DeSantis also has zero natural charisma, he’s a dork who practices his lines with a team of aides and consultants. If Tucker can charm DJT into endorsing him, he’s a shoo-in to win the nomination and run on a border hawk populist agenda.

If Tucker left Fox News no one will know him in two months. Seriously there is a long line of ex-Fox News host disappearing into the media void after leaving Fox.

The character actors on Fox News fit the narrative, the system hype and cross promotion created by Fox. It’s a closed and captive audience. They do not translate outside of the system.
