I have some oral health stuff coming up that might make it hard to eat for a bit. I'd like to some protein shakes on hand so I can have something simple to eat without preparation, particularly while at work.
I've only tried them a couple of times and was underwhelmed. Any recommendations for good ones - low sugar, high protein, no fake sugar taste, filling enough for lunch? |

If you want something low sugar, it will have a fake sugar or stevia taste..
It either has sugar or doesn’t. There is no way around this |
| Low sugar and no fake sugar taste are mutually exclusive. You'll need the calories, just get ones with sugar. |
| Most of the standard low sugar bottled protein shakes are very low calorie, like 150-200 calories, so not enough for lunch. You need something like Boost or Ensure for literal meal replacement. |
| I make my own with frozen fruit (supermarket or Trader Joes), greek yogurt, ice and almond butter. |
