Suggest a brand of butterscotch chips that melt well

I'm trying to make haystacks. Chow mein noodles and melted butterscotch chips. And the Nestle chips just don't melt well anymore. Please suggest a brand that will melt properly. I found one at Target years ago, but can't seem to remember the brand.

I also stopped using Nestle after they changed the ingredients and they stopped melting smoothly. I now buy Guittard butterscotch chips online from Amazon but they are expensive, about $6 a bag. Occasionally I see them at World Market but I haven't ever seen them at any other local grocery stores by me (eg, Whole Foods, Giant, Target etc).

I’ve bought the Guittard ones before. They melt well but IMO all butterscotch chips taste pretty terrible

Butterscotch chips are just gross.

Caramelize some good white chocolate instead.

To each her own. I like them. Thank you for the recommendation.

Thank you! I'll check World Market.

I mean, they are all just wax, right? You could probably make your own if you wanted them to taste good. Hydrogenated oil and lecithin hardly make "food".
