Pick my new set of bowls from these options:

I currently have the standard silver mixing bowls that nest into each other that everyone has. I've had them for over 20 years. Nothing wrong with them, just ready for something new.

The ones with the lids! In fact, I may get them too!

The reviews on the ones with lids are bad- they say they don't close well.

+1 I too like the idea of mixing bowls with lids

Would you consider Pyrex? I use mine for everything. Clear glass nesting bowls. If I want to store something in it I can see what it is. If I'm baking I can tell something is fully incorporated. Easy to clean. Looks good as a serving bowl too.

+1 They also come with lids.

Wow! I have pyrex storage bowls and I love them ... if I were in the market for new mixing bowls, I'd buy these.

They’re both fine but I like mixing bowls with a pour lip. I’d probably go for a color rather than silver. Don’t care about lids.

I have a set of these, and use them often. I wish they had one with higher sides, still as deep as the biggest one, just taller.

-1 on Pyrex or any other glass mixing bowls. The stainless steel is so much more practical, they are much lighter than glass, generally easier maintenance, and don’t break into 1000 pieces if fall.

For your choices, get either. Both look nice.

I have the standard stainless ones and I don’t like them because every time I want to add lemon juice to whatever I am mixing, I need to find another bowl to use. So I’d get pyrex!

I like the ones with the lids because they have lids. But also because they are deeper than the other set which way better when you are using a hand mixer.
