Healthier Dip Mixes

Anonymous
Over the summer I got into good snacking habits, making homemade dips with Greek yogurt and tons of veggies. Now that I'm back in the office I don't have the time to make my own and bought some dip mix with lots of sodium and MSG.

For now, I want to keep using a mix, but I'm in search of one with better ingredients. Is there a specific brand or product that I should look for that's not filled with junk?

What about dips from the refrigerated section of the grocery store?

I would just make homemade. It takes 20 minutes, including clean up, and lasts for a week. I did a green goddess dip that is packed with spinach and watercress. Delicious.

I bought a spread called Snofrisk at Whole Foods recently (I got the one with mushrooms) and it was delicious and pretty healthy.

Three Ingredient Knock-off Lipton's Classic Onion Dip

1. Garlic powder
2. Dried onion flakes
3. Salt

Sprinkle a few shakes of each into greek yogurt. that's it. Tastes almost as good as the MSG version.
