Dress Shopping in HoCo

Hi all! Does anyone know of any higher end boutiques and shopping near Howard County? I do not mean this as a troll post but I'm confused by the lack of options given that this is considered one of the wealthier counties. New to the area and trying to find quality dresses for a few black tie weddings. The inventory at the Nordstrom here seems pretty limited. Wondering if the mall is in the process of closing down? Thank you for your help.

It's been more than a decade since I shopped in brick and mortars for clothes, OP. Selection is better online.

You're right. I was hoping to try some on in person since sizing varies so much but I might just have to concede to online shopping.

The Nordstrom in Columbia Mall has always had a smaller inventory. I don’t have suggestions for other stores, sorry.

Do most people just online shop or drive in Georgetown/Tyson's for their shopping here?

High average income in a somewhat rural/semi-urban county doesn't necessarily correlate with high-end clothing and accessories, which are generally associated with more wealthy urban environments.

It’s validating to hear you describe it as somewhat rural because this is how it’s felt to me after moving here from a very large city. But I continue to get push back when I describe it this way. I guess it’s all relative to what you’re used to. Thank you!
