| Who is this Lashar guy, I see his signs all around Anne Arundel County |
| No surprise here, curious to see how bad Cox gets beat and if the Libertarian can syphon off enough votes from Hogan voters to make an impact. |
| Complete Dem control of the state. The MD Republicans dug their own grave. |
They did. What did they expect? All the redneck southern Maryland voters would buoy their chances by nominating a trump loving idiot like Cox? Jesus Christ. Elect another Hogan clone you dunces. Anyway, have fun with higher taxes and “reforming” the criminal code so it’s more lenient to criminals or whatever stupid policies will be enacted now. |
Hogan's daughter will be running for Governor or Senator within the next decade. She's already won the elected DA position for St Mary's County, so she can play well in a Trump'y area. The outgoing GOP DA was a horrible, awful human so people were ready for change. |
| Isn't 31% still a lot? |
As a liberal democrat, I'd be happy to vote for a Hogan clone. But Cox and his ilk are non-starters. |
I was somewhat following that because I knew how awful he was but I had no idea she was Hogan’s daughter! |
That’s roughly the number of people nationwide who blindly support Trump, believe the election was stolen, etc. Yes it is a lot. |
|
Interesting that Peroutka and Cox have the same 31%
Clearly that's the basement number for literally any republican they can put on the ticket. |
| Polls are never accurate when you are about to elect a MAGA. |
|
Wes Moore seems like a good guy. Kind of like the Maryland version of Cory Booker, except even more photogenic.
I do think it's going to be dangerous for Maryland if the Democrats win everything. One-party rule at the county or state level rarely works out well. |
| What does DCUM this of this- Cox held a press conference with family members of “ The other Wes Moore”, basically saying that the book was in accurate , I don’t know if there’s any truth to that, and that he objected to Wes Moore‘s book being required reading. |
Yeah, they also had almost the exact same vote percentages in the Republican primary over Shalleck and Schulz. |
