We haven’t had any real and big birthday party for our kids since 2019. I would like to throw my daughter a nice birthday party on the day of her birthday. The venue is available only issue is tht we were invited to a classmate’s birthday party the day before. She is celebrating on Saturday and my daughter’s birthday would be the next day. Would you be annoyed (and not come)?
TIA |
| I would go to both, if schedules allow. |
| Are they both having offices at the same venue? I think it’s a bit weird but probably fine. |
| I feel like I went to a party at jumping joeys every week in preschool. |
| OP here. Thanks! No, venues will be different. Ours is about 25 min from school and the other birthday party is a bit further (if that matters) |
| I think the next day is fine. I do not like AM PM the same day. |
| Totally fine. That’s totally normal during birthday party season |
| Venues are different, so it’s totally fine! Hope it’s a fun day. |

I would attend both or one depending on the schedule. It isn’t like I would not attend yours if the timing worked.
If my child really likes your child, I would make it a priority. In general, Saturday parties are worse because kids have activities and sports often. |

Will the guest lists even be the same?
I once sent out an Evite and mom texted me saying she is having a party on the exact same day as our party. Turns out we only had 3 guests in common. Birthday boy left a little early and my son went to their party a little late. I think our end time and their start time was the same like mine was 1-3 and hers was 3-5 or something like that. |

Every weekend feels like this for us. Just go for it!
We're always going between activities and sports all weekend long. If we're free at that time we accept. We're not annoyed at all. |

Do it OP!
I thought you meant literally 12 to 2 and 2 to 4. A day apart is totally fine. |
That’s fine. |
| Different venues =totally fine |
| Thank you everyone! |
