I am looking for a dress for an upcoming photo shoot and also some new places to shop for my kindergarten daughter. When she was in preschool, she really loved character, unicorn and mermaid shirts with leggings. This is what she liked to wear most of the time. She likes to wear dresses now.

+1 these dresses hold up so well! Something about the way they are cut also makes them wearable for longer as my DD grows. For example, she’s been wearing the same Tea and HA size 4 dresses for almost 2 years—they didn’t look too big when she was still mostly in 3T and now she’s in a 5 for most clothes, but these dresses still look great — I just add leggings or bike shorts for coverage. |

| I like Boden and Hannas for everyday wear and occasionally they have extra nice dresses for occasions. Masionette is a great site with lots of different high end kid brands if you are wanting something special for photos. |
