My son loved the Purdue campus. I think because it's a really lively campus, but pretty compact, with restaurants and stores surrounding it. He really loved the vibe, but I think it's too big for him and not exactly a fit for his interests (not comp sci or engineering). Does anyone have any other suggestions? He liked Syracuse a lot and U Del a little bit, but would like some other options (but not on the West Coast).
I should add he's not looking for city schools like GW or NYU. Thanks!

Based on your listed schools, UMiami for a reach. It’s in coral gables, accessible to Miami if he wants to venture into the city, large fun school with a compact campus
Maybe look at what the best college towns are and go from there?

The core of the Wisconsin campus is compact where the L&S and business classes are located, but it is a large, sprawling campus otherwise.
