| Any tips for keeping the air fryer plate/grate from getting gunked up with grease and other food residue? Our old air fryer died and now we have a brand new one so I want to do better about keeping it in good shape. Other than washing it ASAP are there other tips? I saw some ad about using a parchment type liner. Not sure if that would be good to try. |
| I put foil at the bottom and every so often clean it with the easy off. |
| I keep it clean by . . . cleaning it after each use. Is that weird? The removable parts clean easily and the interior usually just needs a quick wipe down with soap and warm water. Usually, it doesn't even need that unless DH stuck chicken thighs or something greasier in there. |
| Even with a dish-soap cleaning each time, it eventually gets gunked up with grease. Hadn't thought of oven cleaner--I'm gonna try that. |
| Use Dawn Powerwash. |
| Mine is nonstick and everything comes off easily. We gently wash after each use. |

| Wash it every time you use it? It’s not an oven and is easy to wash. Just like a dish.If you don’t you are just blowing around old food bits onto your fresh food. Gross! |
| They’re pretty easy to wash when you use them so you don’t need to worry about buildup. I would worry that foil or parchment paper might interfere with the air frying. |
