Where is the list from. I cannot find it anywhere? Usually the Baltimore sun posts the whole State list.

Incredible numbers in so many ways.

I’d be interested to also see the number of commended scholars per school.

Why are you surprised by Blair’s numbers? RM’s numbers seem to have to gone done a bit.

I think it is because they opened all the other IB regional schools.

All of those with more than 1 are magnets except BCC, Whitman, Churchill, WJH, and Wooton, right?

Sherwood isn't a magnet.

Almost half of the high schools in the county without a single semifinalist does not bode well for MCPS. Not surprisingly MCPS is ignoring the NMSFs entirely and not putting out a press release. MCPS won't quickly achieve equity but it can always ignore accomplishments.

I think these results are the norm. Blair magnet always has about half of the senior class of qualifying. RM always has a ton too. And then you get a few here and there at the other schools.

Shockingly low number for RM. wow… I guess that’s the price you pay for having a more inclusive program. Total shame what these idiots have done to that program.

MCPS always announces some days later than the original press release. Here is their press release dated today:

Those results are staggering.

Are all 48 from Blair or from the magnet program?
