Serious question. I just read the FAQ and tried to click through the US DOE site (the ones that work anyway) and I have no idea what the ward recognizes? Can anyone familiar with it pleas point me to info on the metrics or goals against which success is measured?

It's under eligibility. A school may be nominated in either of two performance award categories: Exemplary High Performing or Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing

Thank you. I my defense, "eligibility" does not mean what they think it means.

Interesting. Will this make Sela hard to get into in the future? I feel like they always have space but I don’t know why

Nah, people in the neighborhood already know it’s a good school, and nobody wants to drive over there if it’s not convenient already.

1. Hebrew just not “sexy” like a romance language or mandarin
2. No middle school feed
3. Out of the way location
4. Underwhelming facilities and outdoor space

1. The school is packed to the gills.
2. People are driving from all over the city to attend.
3. They are spending $$$$ expanding space/playground.
4. They are working on middle school feeder.

Has McKinley been using PARCC in the admissions process for the current classes? Their most recent ELA scores are really good.
