Huge brawl outside McDonalds on Van Ness?

Yesterday afternoon there was a massive fight outside the McDonald’s on Wisconsin and Van Ness involving 30 to 50 youth. They were beating the heck out of each other and eventually it spilled into the street where they were jumping on cars, throwing things and being destructive. I understand it moved towards Cathedral Commons but I don’t know how it ended or if there were any injuries or an investigation. Did anyone see anything or have any info?

Why does anyone think this is newsworthy? It’s not. I’m guessing that’s why it didn’t get covered. The television station had the good judgement not to sensationalize and racialize something that should be of no concern to bored white SAHM’s from Bethesda.

? a huge group of people fighting, and beating the crap out of each other on the streets is not news? So, you would be fine going near them? After all, it's NBD, right?

And I say this as someone who grew up going to a HS that had multiple fights *every* single day.

I'm not bored, I work and I live a few streets away. I regularly walk by there with my child. It's of concern to me.
