What is your first appointment like? Just a discussion of history? Is blood drawn to start testing?

Had blood drawn, ultrasound, discussion of history. He was great and took his time explaining everything to me. I am a PCOS person, and the testing confirmed that diagnosis. The nurse called the next day and set me up with a clomid prescription (I was on the right day of my cycle to start it), an HST appt, and a sperm analysis for husband.

That was also my experience. We sat down with him, talked about my history (I'm a cervical cancer survivor) and options. Had blood drawn and did a sonogram. He is very relaxed, very very thorough, and was extremely patient with all of our questions and concerns. I can't recommend him highly enough! Good luck!!!

I think one of the best things about Dr. Sacks is that he let's you sit down and ask all of your questions and he never makes you feel rushed, and thoughtfully answers your questions. He always says - I love questions! which makes me feel better about all the ones I have to ask I really cannot say enough good things about that man! He is really awesome. There is definitely some truth behind the 17+ pages of positive things said about him on dcurbanmoms!!

I wasn't his patient, but he did a couple of my ultrasounds. Just wanted to say that he's wonderful doctor and kind human being. You are in good hands.
