Is math inventory happening today (grade 5 APS)

I emailed the school, they haven't responded. DS says it's today (Thursday). I was going to take my kid out for an appointment today, but it could be rescheduled.

There’s a so Dow for schools to give it so it’s not one exact day across APS. It’s an iPad assessment so if your child misses they can just take it tomorrow. The teacher does not give specific instructions or whatnot. Also it’s only the beginning of the year data point. Your child will take it 2 more times this year.

It’s very relaxed and can be done anytime, so it’s not a big deal if your kid have to miss it for an appointment.

They send an email home the week before reminding you to give your kid breakfast for DIBELS and Math Inventory. It's not used for anything other than math placement for sixth grade (one of three things that they use).

The Spring Math Inventory is used for 6th grade placement. This one helps teachers gauge what they need to work on to catch students up/provide extension.
