Do you notice when the door/glass/door handle of a restaurant entrance is gross?

Am I the only one who notices this? I just walked out of a Panera because the front door and door glass was so freakin' dirty. Why don't managers have that cleaned multiple times a day if necessary. Some places it looks like it's never cleaned. So nasty.

Yes. I was a hostess at a restaurant for a while and we spent most of our time wiping those huge glass doors and brass knobs

+1 worked in restaurants. For me, it's not even being grossed out by germs, it's that I feel stressed about how the restaurant is running if they aren't attentive to details.

Yes. Mostly because I remeber having to clean them at least hourly when working in restaurants. Drilled into us that the first/last impressions count.
