Newbie ride on bus (moco) taker—Best app?

Last week, I waited for a bus from 250-320p, before I gave up. It was scheduled for 3p, and buses are supposed to come every 45 minutes. How frequent is it that a bus (Ride on) never shows up? Is there a reliable app? I was using the transit app, which seemed to indicate that the bus was supposed to come, but when the time came and went, the app just advanced as if the bus had come. Any advice for a newbie?

I use a combination of the RideOn app and the busETA page on RideOn’s site.

I don’t know how common it is for a bus not to show up, but I would recommend looking at RideOn’s site on a desktop computer (if possible) to plan your trip and look at the PDF time tables to make sure you’ve got the right line, direction, and day. It can be hard to take it all in on your phone.

You can also use the Transit setting on Apple maps.

Op here, thanks to you both for responding. Anybody else have experience with buses not showing up. I based my expectation of the bus coming on the pdf schedule.
