Is this still good: red lentils edition

Anonymous
I found a big bag of red lentils (masoor dal) in the back of my pantry. I think I bought it during pandemic hoarding so it's probably 2+ years old. Are they stale? Still good? Keep pr pitch? The bag is unopened so still sealed, FWIW. Thank you, DCUM cooks.

They won't give you food poisoning and probably taste fine.

Totally fine unless they're obviously moldy or crawling with bugs or something

Totally fine! ESP if sealed.

Perfectly fine if there are no bugs or worms.

Totally fine. Beans and lentils last forever if sealed.

If there's nothing crawling in them, they'll be fine.
