Couch, seating recommendations that teens like

My son and his friends hang out in our house and retreat to the basement to play games, do homework etc. We have a long 3seater couch that we’ll upgrade to a sectional. What other seating arrangement do teen boys like? Beanbags? Coffee table yes or no? Side tables?

Teen boys really don’t care about the furniture.

Mine like low, squishy, configurable seating. Not of acliche but PB Teen has good options. Cushy lounge set and flip floor sleeper helps make us the hang out, sleep over house

Basement- hand me down sofas a tv coffee table and use of the fridge in the basement pantry area.

They really don’t care. If you let them eat down there, don’t get nice furniture and get those huge beanbag chairs with washable covers.

Mine love our sectionals. I never know what configuration they will be in when I go downstairs. I always thought a gaming chair would be a good addition but mine never wanted one. I do agree that kids don’t care much about furniture - except for their bedroom.

Meant to add that mine do like side tables to hold glasses.
