Please, please, please post pics or links, not vague descriptions.

Any online optical retailer. Warby Parker. Classic specs. Zenni Optical. Etc.

I hate the rectangular thick plastic look that's everywhere, and since I've had glasses for decades, I notice I prefer rounder, rimless glasses. Generally unobtrusive.

As PP mentioned, go to a big online store and browze. Some allow you to see how the glasses look on yourself with your computer camera. It's fun.

I’ve used Zenni a couple times now and really like them. Very inexpensive (my glasses used to cost $800 and my last pair of Zennis was $50), lots of options, prescriptions are correct, frames are holding up well. They also have a neat “try on” feature where they take a video of your head rotating and then you can see what the frames look like on you. Works remarkably well, even if I go back and compare the actual pair with the images.

Anyone has a link for a classy pair they loved?

I get higher end ones from LensCrafters.

Echoing Zennis. I will never pay $$$ for glasses again. I need high-index lenses and could easily spend several hundred dollars on a pair, which I justified because I usually wore contacts and not my glasses very much, so I'd hold on to a pair of glasses for several years at a time. I wear my glasses a lot more now and love that I can afford to have several pairs on hand because they're so inexpensive at Zenni. Decent quality too. Once you figure out what size and style frames look best, you can filter out the options to select for just those.

Inexpensive Even with high-index lenses? How?

Lafont is always my favorite. They last much longer than other frames I’ve had. Some are big and chunky, but they have several styles that are more streamlined and classic with a modern twist. I’ve had my current pair for 6+ years, and people still ask me about the brand.

Because their costs are so low. A pair of glasses with high-index lenses runs me anywhere from $50-75 depending on the frames I choose.

If you belong to Costco, go there. They have Gucci, Prada, etc and even their regular frames can be nice - Furla, Rayban. Their prices are very good and it is always better to try on in person.

Lenscrafters -- I like being able to try on, plus my lenses are complex. Not even sure the online places would do them

Personally I like the Tiffany frames a lot, but they have a good selection.

+1 I have a Tiffany pair on right now from Lenscrafters.

OP, if you are in MD, their new store at Pike and Rose is very nice and has a great selection!
