| What would you get? |
| There’s really no reason to spend that much for practicality. |
| I would probably get like 8-10 different ones and give at least half away. |
| Sounds like an oxymoron. Practical bags don't cost that much. |
|
I would get a really nice leather weekend bag.
I happen to have this one and adore it https://ghurka.com/collections/travel-duffel/products/express-no-2-vintage-chestnut-leather |
Who are you trying to impress? Men? Instead buy dresses and heels. Women? Buy top few lux brands, no matter which bag. |
| Is this for work or weekend or what? |
Her skirt takes all the attention away.. |

I like the Chloe Marcie bag in the medium size - but I rarely go to an office and don’t carry a purse with me to walk my kids to school so I have no place to wear it.
Since the pandemic all I use is a Lululemon belt bag for kid activities and a clutch for date nights. I have a black leather tote for the rare trip to the office. |
| Buy a classic ysl bag from the real real. |
|
Queen Elizabeth's brand of purse: Launer
Chloe purse: they look really good in person but are somewhat understated I'd buy a purse you could use everyday. |
| I wish people would just answer the question or not comment at all. OP, I would get a Givenchy Pandora. I know this is no longer considered trendy, but it's a classic style and VERY practical. I have two and use them all the time. |

I have a black Mulberry Smaller Millie Tote (bucket bag) for around that price and wear it almost everyday.
The bucket look makes me feel a little trendy, but it's great because I can extend the strap and also wear it as a cross body, if needed. https://www.mulberry.com/us/shop/women/bags/small-millie-tote-black-heavy-grain |
| Also not trendy, but the LV Neverfull is a workhorse and timeless. I used as a work bag, diaper bag, travel bag and it holds up great. I also have the Goyard St Louis - also classic but a little more delicate. |
