How Late Do Activity Buses Run: High School

| What is the latest bus for after school activities? My kid wants to do drama but it regularly will go to 5:30 or 6:00, but the activity bus looks like it leaves the school at 4:30 and only runs three days a week. Drama would be five days a week. Are there later buses? |

| I don’t think so. My kids have all done sports or other activities that ran late. We had to pick them up or have them take the Ride On. |

No buses later. A good chunk of my kids clubs require pick up because they go later….

| DS who plays sports is finally a senior and can get a parking permit with our old car that we have been keeping around the this purpose. No more parent carpools and Ride On buses! |

Wow - that is alot of picking up. I know it would probably be impossible, but I wish MCPS did a second run of activity buses later on for High Schools so the sports, drama, other clubs that run late didn't have to rely on daily parent pickup or ride on buses (or kid driving self with car when they are older  )
